Problem of English in Bangladesh: Second Language or Foreign Language
Mother language or first language is probably the many beloved issue for any person. The question of language has resulted into several issues and discontentment. The perfect exemplory case of such discontentment may be the Language Movement of 1952 in Bangladesh. On one other give we can't live in isolation. We need to be in contact with the speakers of other languages. Bangladesh is considered to be a monolingual state in which significantly more than 98% of the people is speakers of Bangla language. Nevertheless, there are more than twenty languages in this small state like Bangladesh. Monipuri, Urdu, Chakma, Santali, Garo, Rakhain, Tipra- are just some of the other languages within All Bangla Newspaper.
The fascinating point is that Urdu is a Indo-European language but published in Arabic software, Santali belongs to the Mono-Khemar language family while Chakma belongs to the Chinese-Barmese language group. So, even though Bangladesh is often represented as a country of linguistic unity predicated on Bangla language in reality it's notable linguistic diversity. To keep in touch with the speakers of other languages we often need to find out their language or connect in a Lingua-Franca that's comprehensible to equally of us.
